Make a COVID-19 emergency kit for pets
Animal shelters and rescue groups are sending a message to the public to seek information on COVID-19 from the CDC, AVMA, World Health Organization and similarly credible sources; and to make emergency kits and care plans for pets in case owners become unable to care for them. An emergency kit should include daily care instructions, vaccination records and veterinarian contact information; a two-week supply of food and medication; a collar with identification tags, a leash and a crate or carrier; and toys and treats.
